Overview

An exciting Supply Chain and Logistics company are looking for an Internal Sales Executive/ Business Development Manager based in Silchester. This brand is exciting because their clients are Medical, Nuclear and MOD clients. When we think of Logistics and Transport, we think of general goods however this brand specialises in shipping Dangerous goods! Your job will be to promote, network and sell their already successful services. £30k-£35k OTE on top – Monday-Friday – in the offices every day.

The locations near the offices are: Reading, Wasing, Baughurst, Tadley, Aldermaston. You will need to drive to get to the offices, closest train station would be too far!
You can’t travel to the offices via public transport – YOU MUST DRIVE TO THE OFFICES.
You the candidate:

*It would be great if you have worked in either a Medical, MOD or Nuclear industry or at least 2 years B2B Sales experience selling a service! This is a very consultative sale.
This role is due to Growth & one of the first big sales roles they have recruited so being driven and tenacious is important!

What will you be doing?

*Assess the daily vehicle movements and proactively source return loads to maximise fleet utilisation.
*Discover new potential customers and create a database of prospects you can tactically approach when there is an opportunity in their area, based on the daily vehicle movements.
*Create and maintain Target Account Lists for Road, Global and Warehouse service offerings.
*Proactively undertake a range of outbound activities across email and phone into these Accounts, increasing awareness of CTS and opening-up net new opportunities to quote for their requirements.
*Accelerate your success by nurturing great relationships through your proactivity, enthusiasm, and drive to find the best-fit solutions.
*Follow-up and nurture marketing campaigns and inbound, converting leads into sales by actively following up on inquiries, providing timely and accurate quotes.
*Create daily and weekly reports charting activity, progress, success, and learnings.
*This will be a full 360 sales roles, if you feel F2F Meetings/ on teams requires winning new business you can do that otherwise, this role can be done on the phone.

*Work closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth coordination of quotes, and customer shipments, help resolve potential issues, and maintain service excellence throughout the process.
*Collect customer feedback and be a champion for ensuring total customer satisfaction to enhance customer loyalty and generate repeat business.
