Overview
Sales/Account Executive Monday to Friday – £28-34k + Commission – OTE £50k+
Mobile phone, laptop/tablet, company car allowance plus business miles.

The Role:
My client is seeking a dynamic Sales/Account Executive to join their team. This role involves working 2 days a week from Head Office and 2-3 days from home or on-site with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
*New Business Development (60%):*
– Generate new business opportunities in collaboration with the NB Sales Team.
– Ensure prospective customers commit to purchasing
– Use a consultative solution selling approach to address client needs.
Account Management (40%):
– Increase revenue and seek new business opportunities within existing customer accounts.
– Collaborate with other departments to grow business and manage accounts effectively.
Daily Tasks:
– Qualify and book appointments from an existing customer base (calling/social media/networking).
– Cold call new prospects to arrange meetings.
– Monitor and report activities to the line manager, providing relevant management information.
– Attend B2B sales meetings.
– Upsell and grow existing customer accounts.
– Present to potential customers.
– Develop and manage a set geographical area.
– Achieve various KPIs and sales targets.
– Continuously develop personal skill sets.
– Perform standard account management administration duties.

About You:
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities.
– Outgoing, confident, well-presented, and positive attitude.
– Ability to build strong relationships with clients and engage emotionally while maintaining rational thinking.
– Clear aspirations, drivers, and motivations.
Skills and Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years commercial experience.
– FMCG experience preferred but not compulsory.
– IT literate with intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
– Good commercial awareness and a proven track record in direct sales.
– Basic understanding of Profit & Loss accounts.
– Excellent business writing, time management, influencing, customer service, reporting, and analytical skills.
– Strong interpersonal skills to converse with a diverse audience.
