A leading distributor of construction materials is looking for a motivated Yard Operative to join our team in Dover. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and want to work in a role where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you!

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Every other Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Your Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, offering advice on our products.
Prepare customer orders, load/unload vehicles using a forklift (training provided).
Monitor stock levels and ensure the yard and store are always tidy and well-organised.
Check and inspect deliveries for any issues.
Prioritise health and safety, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
A focus on safety and the ability to handle heavy materials.
