Overview

One of the most iconic and well-known British brands are looking for a Vertical Account Manager to look after their Commercial Cleaning distribution partners within the Facilities Management world. This Quirky Electrical Consumer brand is looking to grow even further with your help! They are paying a competitive salary of £40k-£55k OTE 15-25% Bonus + Car + Benefits or Car Allowance.

This exciting company have been around for years! They are based in a lovely part of the UK which you can visit once a week… however this role is remote with a lot of travelling across your territory to grow existing clients and bring on new business, we would say it is 70% AM and 30% New Business with a 20% growth YOY on the existing clients.

You will be selling commercial cleaning services to Facilities management brands, public sector and FM brands for example Centerparcs.

What is the focus of the role?

*Act as a specialist point of contact for own vertical accounts (Tier 1 & 2) ensuring excellence in customer service and budget delivery within Facilitis Management Customers.
*Collaborate closely with colleagues in the UK sales channels to target sector specific opportunities through key account relationships.
*Build and maintain strong, sustainable customer relationships at all levels within these complex businesses. Act as a trusted advisor for allocated vertical customers.
*Conduct reviews at relevant intervals with customer to ensure understanding of changing business dynamics and motivators to align solutions for mutual growth and profitability.
*Use effective negotiation; review customer agreements to maximise growth and profit. Be creative in agreeing bespoke growth plans in conjunction with the Head of Verticals and the Business Intelligence team.
*Prepare portfolio reports for middle and senior managers, the management team full visibility of opportunities and / or threats.
*Use the Business Intelligence system to interrogate data, isolate areas for improvement and growth, translating these into specific plans and actions.
*Work closely with Product Managers and the broader Marketing and Communications team and provide all vertical customers with the necessary information so that they have the confidence to invest and maximise commitment to the brand now and in the future.
*Work with initiative; use knowledge of portfolio and budgets to increase customer contact, growing revenue.

*You MUST have experience in in the field F2F, either with New Business and some Account management especially within Cleaning, Laundry, Electronic Appliance sales or to Facilities Management
*We would prefer it if you have sold a cleaning product
*We are after someone curious, inquisitive, detailed and a forward thinker!
*We are after someone who isn’t afraid of New Business – this company is successful anyway due to it’s name… but can you take their sales to the next level?
Do you have the gravitas to look after their Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients.

Car allowance is: £640 for month for a normal car or £800 a month for an electric car or you can have a company car.
