Merchandising Analyst Wanted for an International Retail/Tourism Business

WORK FROM HOME- Occasional visits to Head Office

Standard Hours – Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.00

SALARY: £28K

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Merchandising Analyst, you will be responsible for:

– Creating, reviewing, and reporting on the sales performance of the product range.
– Identifying trends and opportunities for improvement in product loading, sold, and waste
data.
– Making recommendations for changes to optimize sales loading.
– Managing the continuous process of reviewing, changing, and reporting on product
loadings.
– Analyzing business data and proposing solutions to drive ROI.
– Developing and maintaining TRS data software for value optimization.
– Utilizing technology and systems to optimize merchandising and data processes.
– Creating and maintaining Merchandising Analyst process documents.
– Providing internal and external reports to required standards and agreed timings.
– Leading process improvement and change aligned with Vision.
– Offering general analysis and admin support.
– Representing the team in the absence of the Head of Merchandising and Data.

Working closely with: Operations, Supply Chain, Buying, IT, External customers

Candidate Profile:

– Advanced Excel and robust Microsoft Office skills.
– Proven analytical skills and experience in an analytical role.
– Understanding of ERP systems.
– Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
– Strategic planning and thinking, systems analysis, and evaluation.
– Proficient in SQL (desirable).
– Innovative problem solver in a structured manner.
– Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
– Adaptable to change and able to self-correct through self-reflection.
– Degree educated or equivalent experience.
