£24-27k basic salary & company vehicle & OTE £32k+
Overall Job Purpose
As Stock Taker, Stock Auditor, Stock Checker you will be responsible for making sure that all stock is accounted for and is accurately recorded. The customer base includes Hospitality and NHS customers.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
The role primarily involves counting stock to provide data to our customers. Additional replenishing or despatch/delivery checks may also be undertaken. All data to be updated on Salesforce.
Person Specification
* Positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work and a desire to provide excellent customer service.
* A flexible approach to the work environment including the ability to engage with colleagues but also be able to work on own initiative.
* The ability to work swiftly and accurately with the determination to achieve targets.
* Must be accurate because stock controllers oversee inventory, they need to accurately process and record details, especially numbers.
* Must be able to record data accurately because the demand for products is often shifting, so stock takers should adjust to this when replenishing stock and make estimates based on data such as industry trends and sales statistics.
* Must be organized as there is very little room for error.
* Be able to plan own routes to ensure that customers have their stock taken on a periodic timescale.
* Need to be able to work away from home.
* Some travel will be required.
